Ladies Looking For First Win Of The Season.

Wetherby Athletic hit the road again as they travel over to Halifax to face Hebden Royd United LFC. The match has a 2pm kick-off time and looking at the weather, it appears that it will be a dry afternoon with sunny spells.

Following their 6-3 defeat against Farsley Celtic AFC Ladies last weekend, the Ladies are in determined mood that it will be three times the charm as they search for that opening league win. A look at the form guide over the past couple of league games does indicate that Wetherby have a slight advantage going into the game.

Of course, there are no easy games in any leagues anymore and even though our hosts are bottom of the league, the Ladies know that they will have to be at the best to gain a result. The last match that Hebden played at home ended in a 17-0 rout for Tingley Athletic, so they will be determined not to let that happen again this Sunday.

A win for Wetherby could, dependant on other results, see them move into 4th place, whilst a defeat see them at the foot of the table.
