Wetherby (York C) Eye Top Spot.

As well as the first team playing at The Ings, our York C team are also in action as they host York Railway Institute Reserves. This match has a 2pm kick off and it will be a cloudy day weather wise.

Matt Barnfather’s team will be looking to return to winning ways following a narrow 2-1 defeat to Heworth Green Reserves last Saturday. The defeat saw them drop into third place, but a good win at the weekend coupled with other results going their way, could see the Tangerines return back to the summit of the table.

Our opponents will also have the same goal in mind as they currently lie in second place. At present they have only played one game, but they gained a good 8-4 win against Selby Olympia Reserves.

The referee for this match will be Mr James McNee. We hope that Mr McNee has a pleasant time whilst he is at The Ings.
